Columbia redevelopment moves to Lakefront District

The aggressive redevelopment of downtown Columbia, Maryland’s Merriweather District is expanding to the Lakefront District, surrounding Columbia’s Lake Kittamaqundi. Developer Howard Hughes Corp. has released initial plans for a $325 million investment in the Lakefront District in phases.
